I just want to start this tread to see how many people are interested in getting a bus to go down to Kansas. Just post if you want to go and if you have any information on how we can get this done. After I get a good idea of how many people want to go I'll start making calls on getting a bus or two. This would be a great road trip and a chance to make some noise in Kansas.

I know that I would go for sure if there was a bus to the Kansas game. Mapquest lists the trip as about a eight hour drive from Milwaukee to Kansas City, KS. That is farther than any of the bus trips in the past couple -- I think Butler has been the farthest -- but it would be an awesome trip!!
The athletic department always seems to do a good job putting the bus trips together, and I'm sure they would help with one to Kansas if there was enough interest. I think the major factor if you want to attract students is to keep the cost as low as possible, which might be harder for such a long trip. I would personally be willing to pay for the trip - or it would make a great present being so close to the holidays!!

I know that this will be the longest trip, but this program is getting bigger every year and if we show enough interest I know we can get this done. If the SBGC has to raise money I know we will be more than happy to do so. We just need to start thinking up ways to make this happen and make it a great experience for anyone that goes.

I would so be in...although I think a hotel room would be nice....I just dont see alot of ppl going 8 hrs on a trip then staying for 4 hrs and then driving back 8 more hrs...but I think I would still go

well the hotel idea sounds good but I think that that would only appeal to the real hard core people of the group. Besides that I think that it might cost a bit more for the bus to have it wait over night. I guess all we can really do is get the word out and try to figure out the details. We've got quite a while to plan this thing, but we should get started on it.
