I finally noticed that the official website was updated with the new roster. Of course with walk-ons it is going to be altered a little. Passley is posted as the lone freshman....what happened to Alan Hanson? (I assume his 'walk-on' status keeps him out for now). Lots of Jrs and Srs, we definitely have a veteran class. Our starting 5, and most of our bench was not on our NCAA team...thus they should be hungry for the big dance.
Just as the 2002 team was Clay's, this one belongs to Ed. I like what I am seeing...bring on the HL. Boo is back, which is news to me. We have never seen him in a game, but since Pearl is keeping him around that seems positive. Our bench continues to get deeper...
2 Chris Hill G 5-10 160 Jr. Chicago, Ill. (Whitney Young)
4 Mark Pancratz G 6-3 185 Jr. Schaumburg, Ill. (Schaumburg)
5 Marcus Conigliaro G 6-2 195 Jr. Milwaukee, Wis. (Vincent)
13 Joah Tucker F 6-5 220 Jr. Milwaukee, Wis. (Glendale Nicolet/Bradley)
22 Ed McCants G 6-3 195 Sr. Marion, Ohio (Marion Catholic/Paris JC)
23 James Wright F 6-6 205 Sr. Milwaukee, Wis. (Vincent)
24 Ronald Davis G 6-3 185 Jr. Chicago, Ill. (Marshall/Olney Central CC)
32 Adam Finley F 6-7 230 Jr. Genoa, Ill. (Rockford Boylan)
42 Rob Sanders F 6-6 185 Sr. Toledo, Ohio (Scott/Toledo)
43 Luke Homan G 6-3 180 So. Brookfield, Wis. (Central)
44 Adrian Tigert F 6-7 230 Jr. Oshkosh, Wis. (West)
54 Nick Hansen G 6-5 200 So. Appleton, Wis. (West)
Derrick Ford C 6-10 235 Jr. Toledo, Ohio (Scott/Olney CC)
Jason McCoy F 6-9 182 Jr. Houston, Tex. (Milby/Rutgers)
Anthony Passley F 6-5 190 Fr. Indianapolis, Ind. (North Central)
Derrick Wimmer G 6-3 175 So. Milwaukee, Wis. (Whitefish Bay Dominican/Chicago St.)
I hope to see Wright in more games. He adds a great spark and some athletic skill off the bench.
