Devin Harris is gone...how do we match up against UW this season? They will have to entirely restructure their team. Will Pearl get the big upset at the Kohl Center?
I think we have a better chance than any previous year.

I think we'd have to have a *lot* of things clicking for this to happen. Clearly we've been better able to match up w/Badgers from year to year, but we'll still have a number of newer folks and only one who I feel right now would be able to take over a game (McCants) and possibly outplay his defender.
The badgirls will have better and bigger front line and may be able to go just as deep.
I DO think we can beat them, but you'd have to have a lot of Panthers having an on night and at least one/two of the UW having an off night.
Just my opinion...

Sorry guys, it aint gonna happen. Too much inside bulk for the Badgers next season. Not sure we have an answer to Tucker, Wilkinson, and Butch.

I agree, the game will need to be played at a frantic pace for UWM to win. Both teams will have solid benches, but UWM will need to turn up the speed of the game and get back to the 94 foot pressure D we saw a year ago (2002/2003). If UW has time to slow it down and work it inside, I just don't think we have enough bulk to stop them. On the other hand, we may be able to exploit some of their guards - they will likely not be the well oiled machine we are accostomed to seeing without Harris at the point (at least early in the season). It will be interesting, that is for sure.
