At the present time, we have 6 Walk-Ons: Czechowicz Finley Conigliaro Hokenson Hansen Homan
I just wonder how many of these guys will be back and is UWM planning to ask anybody else to walk-on. I know there have been rumors floating around about Czechowicz is going to Parkside next year and there was an article in the fall stating that Ed's younger brother was going to play on the team this year.
Of the plyers in the group above, Finley should be back for sure, he is a great practice player and one of the hardest working players on the team. Conigs can flat out shoot and I see him on the team next year. Homan was a stud at Brookfield and had an illness last year, IMO he will be on the team also.
What does everbody think

Just to make everything official ...
Joe Czechowicz is listed on UW-Parkside's roster. Good luck to him.

I've heard the new walk-ons will include Mike Bendall, an Adrian Tigert-type forward from Oconomowoc and the state's fourth-leading scorer from a year ago; and Gordy Zastrow, who was a preferred walk-on for us in 2002-03. Gordy is a lanky 6-foot-4 who can post up and whose jump shot is said to have vastly improved from two seasons ago. Still, these two will be hard-pressed to get any minutes on a team as deep as the Panthers.

Any word on whether Ed's brother Marcus is going to walk-on as well?

That is an excellent question. It sounds as though Marcus is a fourth-team all-state caliber player who lacks Ed's size (he's about 5-10) and explosiveness but who has a nice handle and can drain the open jumper. He was with Ed at the postseason banquet, but his status remains something of a mystery. I hear there's a younger brother who's even better.
