I am worried.......... Current Sat. night schedule. WMLW - Wisconsin High School State basketball playoffs Fox Sports North - College hockey (WCHA Final Five Championship) Basically, I think our best bet is going to be if the game is put on TV in Idaho on their local Fox affiliate (or maybe even a local station) and we can somehow find a bar or something that can get that channel.

The game will probably end up being tape delayed. I am hoping that it will on Fox Sports package so that maybe it will be carried on Fox Sports West, so I can watch it live

Someone needs to go over to the Athletic Department and talk to the SID (Kevin) and see what the deal is with TV for the game on Sat. Is this even a possibility? Is there anything in the works? What is going on?

I can tell you that ESPN/ESPN2 won't be showing any of the games in our bracket until possibly the semifinals. Even then, they will pick 2 of the 4 to broadcast.
Do you guys have a contract with FoxSports or something?

Fox Sports Net covers the Horizon League with a game or two on Saturdays during the season, but no we don't have a contract with them as a school.
I don't think FSN can cover NIT games ... I would believe ESPN has the contract to them nationally.

I don't know if this is something that UWM fell into, or if the athletic department had to pull a few strings to get the game on TV, but either way, I am very glad that the deal got done. I just sent Kevin (SID) an email thanking him for his efforts. It might not be a bad idea if we make sure he knows we appreciate his (and others) efforts. In a side note, I think that the Journal/Sentinel has done a pretty good job lately concerning UWM......so I wrote a quick note to their sports editor and let him know I (and the rest of the UWM fans) appreciated his efforts and told him to keep it up. A little ass kissing never hurts! ;D

I've been critical of their lack of coverage all year so it's nice to see them stepping up and giving UWM some props, finally. Hope we can get a win Saturday to keep the publicity rolling... I guess it'll be more of an avalanche of publicity if the UWM/Marquette game comes to fruition
