Childress was on campus with his parents. Passley was there with his parents as well. I am waiting on the particulars on his situation especially given the fact that BP has one more scholly to give, and from what I hear that is promised to Maurice Thomas. I am curious though as to why Thomas has not signed his LOI yet...
The saga continues...
As arrogant as Childress was, he probably feels like he has arrived by playing for a high major like UT (only because of the other sports).

Passley was there with his parents as well. Ding, ding, ding.......we have a winner (you have some very good info ). I find it very interesting that BP would even consider talking to AP after he got "homesick".....

I agree...very interesting...
That was a situation that turned very ugly very quickly. I would be surprised if BP offered him a scholly. Sounds to me like AP is trying to jump on the bandwagon. If I were BP I would have him sit his ass on the bench for a year at his parent's expense to see where his committment lies.
I seriously cant see AP getting a scholly over Maurice Thomas and Desmond Yates. Then again, I could not see Childress getting one but we now know he did.

I'm glad Childress isn't coming here. He was never that big of a recruit anyways. If the only other big school offering a scholarship was Kent St., then I'm glad we can spend it on another better player.

Enjoy your four years on the bench in the SEC - you'll have the best seat in the house.
Never saw him play but sounds like he could have been a big time player in this league.
Sorry Lou, Childress must think he looks good in orange.

Well, I look good in orange too. In fact, I am wearing an orange shirt as we speak! Anyway, good for BP, and good (I hope) for Ryan Childress. I hope he is as successful in TN as he would have been here. I wish him the best.
