I would assume since he was recruited by Wisconsin that Jeter knows him well, could be a good option at PG following Hill's graduation after sitting out this fall:

Sophomore wants to be closer to home

MINNEAPOLIS -- Guard Lawrence McKenzie will transfer from Oklahoma to be closer to home, his father told a newspaper.
"He kind of felt like he was playing out of position and a few other things," Larry McKenzie told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune for Thursday's editions. "He just decided he wanted to, you know, make a change."
As a sophomore, McKenzie averaged 9.5 points playing mostly as a reserve. He was the Sooners' best outside shooter and made 43.5 percent of his 3-point shots to rank second in the Big 12 Conference.
The 6-foot-2 Minneapolis native played in 32 of the Sooners' 33 games and started six times, but eventually found himself behind freshman David Godbold, who started 11 games -- including the final 10.
McKenzie, who started 20 games as a freshman, could have faced further reductions in his playing time next season as Oklahoma adds at least two more guards -- Michael Neal and Nate Carter. The Sooners may also add another guard in the spring signing period.
McKenzie's father said Oklahoma has not yet granted McKenzie's release, but the school has indicated it will. Oklahoma spokesman Mike Houck said Kelvin Sampson was out of town recruiting on Thursday and had no immediate comment.
McKenzie played for his father at Patrick Henry High School and helped lead the Patriots to four straight state titles. He chose Oklahoma over Minnesota, Nebraska, UNLV and Wisconsin. He has two years of eligibility remaining, but would have to sit out one season if he transfers.
"One of the things that's going to be key is being closer to home," Larry McKenzie said. "We're going to be looking at rosters and seeing who has [point guards]."
