MU 50 UCONN 37 16:00 min left
As a fan of college bball you can't help but cheer for MU (did I just write that?). UCONN looks disinterested and unfocused. MU is playing tough D, playing as a team, and is bringing a ton of energy to the court.
We'll see

Outstanding game! Congrats to Marquette. Maybe the Big East wont be too big of a jump?

MU 94 UCONN 79 wasn't that close Novak: 41 points and 16 boards WOW I thought reading here that UCONN was going to blow out MU by 30. LOL Great win for Marquette and the city of Milwaukee. Great for recruiting for MU as well. You're right, it wasn't that close.

Just got back from the Marquette/UCONN game.
Wow, what an amazing game. You gotta admit, hell of a way to enter the Big East.
Great win for the Gold.

I, too, just got back from the game. Novak was a man among boys. McNeal may not have all the pub like James or Matthews, but I was very impressed with him as well.
Solid, solid, solid victory. MU easily could build on this ... an NCAA berth may not be too unrealistic after all.

Novak is truly an incredible shooter, and Marquette put together their best preformance of the year coming off the loss of Matthews. They deserve tons of credit for the win tonight.
I highly doubt UCONN will come out with such little intensity the next time the two meet. I'm happy MU gave them a nice b**** slap to the face for showing such a poor effort.

I was very impressed with MU last night (was at the game too) and very unimpressed with UCONN. Looks like UCONN had a new years hangover yet and MU pounced. This game just reminded me MU beating up Wisconsin last year but then the team struggling much of the rest of the year (yeah, I know T. Diener was out alot).

....maybe it was the elevation at which Milwaukee sits that fried UCONN.....
