23-8 with about 10 minutes left in the first half. It didn't take long to pick up Bruce's system - they're putting a clinic on out there.

Yes, Tejas was struggling with some injuries, but you would expect them to come out with some more fire after being mangled by Duke, and playing a home game against an unranked non-conference opponent. Kudos to Bruce. BP-ball looking good so far in orange. (now that they've played their first game outside of TN) BTW, TT got whupped by Cinci today. T

I don't care, he still completely dissed my hometown.
I hope he misses the NIT.

You were never even here while he was, get over it. The man did great things for the program, but he's gone now, support him, support Robbie Jeter
GO PANTHERS

I was just looking at a Tennessee board and they are already talking about whether Tennessee will be Pearl's final destination.
Just like to say congrats on the big win in Texas and hope it does continue for him. We've got a great coach here so it worked out for all parties involved, well maybe except for James Douglas. Does anyone know how he is doing in Mizzou?

Soon as he took the Tenn job I felt it was nothing more than just another stop for him. I would not doubt he wants to be on the east coast at a Big East or ACC school. He is a fish out of water down at Tenn and he made that very clear with his remarks when he took the job. I wish him well and with any luck he may still be there coaching if I go the Tenn for my PhD.

I think he can build TN into a winner....whether or not he can sustain it year in and year out like a Duke is something else..but I think if he is like a Illinois or Kansas or something on those lines where he makes the tourney year and wins some games they will be just fine and he will stay. Tennessee is a place that he could with the right players be a contender in the SEC every year and play for a National Championship...but unless Boston College opens up I would imagine Bruce would stay

Just because I wasn't a student doesn't mean I haven't been a Panther fan since I was young. Yeah, when my older sister came here and Cobb was coach. That's how long my family has gone to Panther games.
But yes, respect for BP in taking us as far as he did.
I just don't like what he said about us.
