Why should the library stay open when no one ever goes? No reason for it to be open when only 5 people want to go. Back when it was open 24 hours during finals no was there after 8.

Wow ... 7 p.m. is ridiculous during finals week. Favorite place for me to study was the underground floor on the east wing.

I was plenty pissed off to find even the reserve library during exams not opening until 7:30am so when I got to school to study around 6:30 yesterday I had to find another spot. The reserve should be 24 hours again, if Eau Claire can sustain a 24-7 library, UWM damn well better with tuition double my old school.

I dont go much any more since I have an office in the business building, but a friend tha works there told me hours are reduced due to low turnout. I believe the extened the hours of the union since more people tend to be there.

Library hours aren't down due to turnout, I believe it's funding/workers. The logic of the union doesn't make sense to me... the union offers no resources. Lack of demand is an excuse, and incase you haven't noticed, our state systems tends to make those a lot

I was wondering the same thing myself. I'll talk to the new news editor at the Post, see if we can get this covered in the opening semester issue.
