Northern Iowa’s AD search is in its final stages, according to CollegeAD, which reports UNI officials held in-person meetings this week with Wisconsin-Milwaukee AD Amanda Braun, South Dakota State Deputy AD Slade Larscheid and Wisconsin-Green Bay AD Josh Moon. A final decision could reportedly come this week or early next week.

This begs the question "What contractual obligations an existing AD like Braun and Moon hinder switching to another university?" Buyout? No-compete? Etc.

One would think with hiring Lundy, building the practice facility and putting our name on the Arena, she'd be a shoo-in compared to Josh Moon who hired a guy who isn't as good as Lundy at UWGB.

False alarm. Amanda is not a finalist for the UNI job. Someone else in the department is. Don't know who, but good luck to them.

These leaves Amanda as one of two finalists.

CollegeAD has updated its reporting on the Northern Iowa AD search, noting that Wisconsin-Milwaukee AD Amanda Braun is “not connected to the search.”
It is allegedly the deputy.

Terrible reporting by them.
That’s disappointing. I was hoping Braun would get it.

Which One I Wonder. Litzau or Rossi?

Which One I Wonder. Litzau or Rossi? If not spoiling a powerhouse Women’s Soccer program and improving a Women’s tennis program are enough to get one hired, it might be Litzau. Hiring a Senior Woman Administrator can’t hurt… I wish either one all success.

I'd bet on Rossi. I can't imagine Kathy Litzau ever leaving here. She's practically a cornerstone of the athletic department at this point.
