Gelo is always the forgotten man. More often than not he makes the right play, cut or pass. It's odd how Lundy goes to him in crunch time but very rarely the rest of the game.
I noticed BJ the first 5-10 minutes as well. Coach talked about his effort at the press conference on Sunday and that he needs to come with it all the time. Didn't happen so much early in the game. The team actually made their comeback with him on the bench yesterday. And this isn't to say we play better without him, just an observation of yesterday's game.

I mean the format is stupid, one of the worst in CBB. Format is not as bad, as have the 4 in Indy on a Monday/Tuesday compared to a Friday/Sat. Why would the Monday/Tuesday destination be preferable to a Friday/Saturday destination tournament? If they had the semis/finals on Friday/Saturday, I'd probably be able to make the tournament every year regardless of whether we're in it or not. I'm sure I'm not the only one in that kind of situation - of course a weekend is more likely to be well-attended than the first two weekdays. That said, I understand that this is how ESPN wants it and the Horizon League is unwilling to strike out to any one of ESPN's several competitors (even if that move might lead to more exposure in a shallower pool of content compared to the absolute ocean of stuff to choose from for viewers of ESPN's streaming and cable content). We don't need to rehash it, but the old format of 'the top two seeds getting the double-bye and the top seed remaining hosts the quarters-thru-finals' was the absolute best format you could make for a one-bid conference. Whoever came out of that tournament was undoubtedly the best team we could send to the Big Dance, and it has led to every NCAA Tournament victory we've had since that HL tournament format was adopted in 2004 - which is more than almost every mid-major or low-major conference, regardless of whether or not you include Butler's Final Fours.

Friday/Saturday is what it should be for fan attendance!
