Yes, it's worth winning! Green Bay is evil.

The league could do better. Give a two round bye for first and a one round bye for 2nd and 3rd. Everyone else plays in the first round. But this format is pretty standard, to be honest. Playing them in Indy is stupid as f***, and the last two rounds midweek is even worse. Id knock out the lowest standing team Yeah it does seem ridiculous that the 10/11 seed is consistently given home court advantage in the HL Tournament.

I know it’s Green Bay and it’s going to be one of the highest attended games in years but is it worth playing Freeman or anyone for that matter heavy minutes? We are locked into the 6 seed and given the tournament starts Tuesday and we’d play 4 games in a week if we make the championship I just don’t know if it’s worth it as much as I don’t like saying that. That thought crossed my mind too. Maybe play Gelo and Ham bigger minutes on senior day and let some of our top players rest a bit. I don’t foresee Lundy doing that though. It may be the best move on paper, but I feel like it would harm team morale. It almost felt like he was trying to rest Freeman tonight. He only played 28 minutes and was playing pretty well. I do get what you’re saying about Lundy but I would also say he’s mentioned the conference tournament many times and how he wants them positioned best for that so it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. Wouldn’t mind seeing Learic and Franklin get some big minutes knowing we are going to need them to step up if we’re going to make a run.

Yes, it's worth winning! Green Bay is evil. There's more to it than that, guys. Think about our record (16-14). When's the last time we went to a postseason tournament in back-to-back years? When's the last time we had a winning record in back-to-back years?! How many winning records have we had in the last 10 years, period?!

Panthers took 57 shots and only 16 from three. We don't see that too much.

Upon some quick research, the answers to my questions are the following: 1, 2010-11 (NIT) and '11-12 (CBI); 2, Four years in a row ('08-12); and 3, three (2013-14, '15-16 and '22-23). You play to win the game!

You play to win the game! Given the new selection process of the NIT I don’t see us playing for a postseason tournament bid besides the NCAA tournament. We’re the 6th place team in the Horizon League so I don’t think even the CBI will be reaching out to us but I hope I’m wrong!

Think about it, guys: the host schools since 2016 (Detroit & IUPUI) have been seeded 6, 7, 10, 7, 8, 9, 12, 11 & 10. That's laugh-out-loud funny.

There wasn’t much for UW-Milwaukee head coach Bart Lundy to like about Wednesday night's game in Indianapolis. The Panthers got off to a treacherous start against IUPUI, one of the lowest-rated teams in the country. They turned the ball over nearly 20 times. They were losing in the final minute and without possession of the ball. “It was just a strange game,” Lundy said. But BJ Freeman and the Panthers did just enough. Freeman hit four free throws in the final minute, including the go-ahead ones with 45 seconds to play, and Milwaukee scraped out a 75-70 win on the road. “It was a dogfight in the second half,” Lundy said. “Got some stops down the stretch and made our free throws. We were lucky to get out of there with a win.” The Panthers found themselves in a 19-4 hole seven minutes into the game against the Jaguars, who have won two conference games and are ranked second-last in the country by KenPom.com. It was turnovers galore for Milwaukee, which had five in the first six minutes. “We started the game really disjointed offensively,” Lundy said. Freeman hit threes the rest of the half and Lundy lauded the contributions off the bench from Angelo Stuart and Learic Davis as the Panthers clawed back to take a brief lead before trailing, 36-35, going into halftime despite 11 turnovers. “They’re good at turning you over,” Lundy said. “We weren’t moving the ball. We thought it was going to be easier than it was going to be. I give IUPUI credit. Despite their record, they’re playing really hard and they’ve played hard every game.” Milwaukee claimed its largest lead of the night at eight points with 11:25 to play but a 9-2 run minutes later drew the score even with just over six minutes to play. A Panthers turnover with 1:16 left gave the ball to the Jaguars with a one-point lead, but a stop led to Freeman being fouled on a rebound with 45 seconds left. He hit both free throws, and then the Jaguars missed two shots on their ensuing possession and Faizon Fields made it a three-point Milwaukee lead by sinking a pair of foul shots. The Jaguars missed a three to tie with six seconds to play, Freeman grabbed the rebound and converted two more free throws to put things out of reach. The Panthers, with one regular season game still to play Saturday night vs. UW-Green Bay at the UWM Panther Arena, are slotted into the No. 6 seed in the Horizon League tournament. They will host a first-round game Tuesday, likely against Detroit Mercy.

Looks like B.J. had a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double!! Gonna get his numbers but was a big reason we got in that hole early. Go rewatch the first 4 minutes of the game for a microcosm of my frustrations of him on defense this season. Also 5 turnovers no assists and a negative plus minus. Stuart actually played maybe his best game as a panther last night was really solid. I know no one else here watches on defense as closely as I do but giving up back to back layups and literally watching a guy go by you is not good enough. At a certain point you’d think our guys would d up and stop looking to the bench and saying my bad.
