That, ladies and gentlemen, appears to be a case of addition by subtraction. Or it’s called teams play with more energy and effort when they make shots. Dude you cant be serious, once more do you watch with your eyes closed, team vibe was much better today. They didnt make shots outside of the first 5 minutes and Pratt. They attacked the basket relentlessly in the second half. Hopefully kicking MB off the team improves the other sour attitudes that surrounded the team in the first half of the season.

Yeah, our shooting percentage wasn’t special today. It was a lot lower than the Davis game.
The defense and rebounding, both of which correlate better with effort and energy than shooting, was a bit better, or so it seemed.

Sorry to say it, but the B.J. situation is beginning to feel a little PBJesque. It is mainly because we get no updates except BJ's twitter of random emojis. I know its a college team and all, but it feels like we would get some update. I know BJ really wants to play...kid has 50x the drive as PBJ.

IMO BJ is not interested in playing for Lundy anymore Don't you have some players to send home for Christmas only to call them back tomorrow night? Just look at the difference between the way Ham and Bj dress for a home basketball. Tells you alot. Just look at your sentence structure. Tells you a lot. Maybe if you worried about your job rather than being the fashion police, you would have known that your kid shouldn't have been playing with the ball in his hands and you wouldn't have tanked his draft stock. Enjoy finishing last in the MVC.

In addition to the vastly improved defensive intensity and rebounding, the offensive flow was markedly better today despite the lack of a pure point guard. Twelve turnovers in 45 minutes of basketball speaks volumes, IMO.

After giving up 25 to Zapala from Longwood, it was nice to see the guys hold Jan Zidek scoreless.
Good team win. A lot of positives to take away. Also, Bart learned something from last year fouling up 3. A step in the right direction.
The HL doesn't seem as daunting as it did in the preseason. This thing is wide open.

Eric Pratt had a great game. Yet, don't high five fans courtside while Chattanooga is racing the ball down court and hitting the game tying three with seconds left in regulation. I think there may be a few sides to this and it should be a learning experience for everybody: 1, I wonder if these "Super Bowl" celebrations are part of the reason why Pratt, a talented offensive player, didn't play at all in early-season losses to Southern Miss and Green Bay and 2, It looked as if Pratt got flattened on the play in question. If you look at the replay online, it appears as if he thought he heard a whistle and had a free throw coming. Either way, obviously you always need to be sure.

Team looked a lot better today and played 40 minutes. And how about all the rebounds??
BJ and Pratt would be an awesome backcourt duo imo. Nice to see KP have a good game today, too.
Robert Morris up next and they are very beatable. Just get back to .500 and go up, up, up in the New Year.

The moral of the story is that you need to play hard to the final buzzer.

Well when you have a guy whose not playing 30 minutes who literally stops the ball everytime he touches it to either take a crap shot or turn it over the offense is going to look better.

"I love to get the win, but I love the spirit that we played with," head coach Bart Lundy said. "We played together, we played hard – this game could have gone either way; Chattanooga is a really good team. We had so many individual great performances, but to me, if we are going to have 'Milwaukee Basketball', that's what it's going to be about. It's not always going to be pretty; it's not always going to be right; but they are going to play together and play hard. And win or lose, this is the first game I am coming out of this year where I am feeling good in my basketball soul about our effort and our energy and how we represented the University."
"I want to give credit to our guys," Lundy said. "We have had a lot of turmoil and a rough start to the season. But we had the best week that we've had since this group got here this summer. And there aren't any secrets in this, you play together, you play hard, you sacrifice, and good things happen. And the group that was on the floor tonight … they did that. And there are a lot of guys in that lineup – Erik Pratt is definitely one of those – that has persevered through a lot of ups and downs since he stepped foot on campus."
