Win is a win. Things to build off going forward.

That, ladies and gentlemen, appears to be a case of addition by subtraction. Or it’s called teams play with more energy and effort when they make shots. Well, why did we collectively play with more effort and energy? Honest question.

Good win! Not gonna lie, when Pratt hit that 3 and started flexing and dapping up the fans allowing his man to knock down the go ahead 3 immediately after, I thought they may have blown it.

I noticed that Fields was having a discussion with Lundy when he was taken out in the first half. It wasn’t overly heated; it just looked like Fields was trying to explain something to Lundy, and Lundy didn’t seem to be having it much. I could be reading a whole lot into nothing here (as I often do), but Fields did not play much after. Wilson played the 5 much more than Fields in the 2nd half and overtime. Add that to the fact that Fields is a significantly better free throw shooter than Duffy and wasn’t playing when free throws became crucial, it makes me think Lundy isn’t all that thrilled with him right now.
I’ll also give this to Duffy: we all know he can’t shoot free throws well at all, regardless of the pressure in the situation. When every point became crucial down the stretch, though, he didn’t walk away from the free throw line empty handed once (to the best of my recollection). I know a 50% free throw percentage isn’t exactly great, but when you normally make Demetrius Harris and Joey St. Pierre look like Rick Berry and Moses Bol, I think it warrants mentioning as a positive.

I love MB as a player, but Pratt getting his minutes won’t hurt us. We are a very dangerous team if EJ plays like that every game.
I saw the promise today of the pre season hype. Defense was good. A little more focus at the end of the half and late in the game wouldn’t hurt , but we looked like the real deal today.

Or it’s called teams play with more energy and effort when they make shots. Well, why did we collectively play with more effort and energy? Honest question. I know there was one instance in either the the Longwood or the Luther game where MB fell on one side of the court and took some time to get up. Then when he did get up (with the Panthers defending 4 on 5 on the other side of the court), he was jogging to the other side of the court. I thought he might be injured. He wasn’t even taken out of the game at the next break. That kind of behavior sucks the energy right off the court. That’s not to say he didn’t provide any positive energy.(he definitely did at times) but something like that is a conscious choice to be an energy vacuum.

Don't know that Fields was in a mini-dog house, but both Duffy and Wilson played well today when given minutes, and Fields didn't appear to make too much of his minutes. That's been typical Lundy to play the hot(ter) hands at the big, so I'm not ready to say Fields was in the doghouse as much as having an off day. Duffy went 0-2 on his last trip to the line. Up to that point, he'd been 50%. He finished 3-8 from the line.

Slap hands with Lundy right after the game. Lundy said, "we're not dead yet"

May I suggest that rather than then try to figure out who was or wasn't mad, why someone wore their pants or why we won, ee just enjoy a great win People can have their opinions, but in our first game after Browning we beat a team that was taller, leads the nation in 3:s and would've killed us 10 days ago. All the hand wringing, side comments and such can't alter that undeniable fact. So lets enjoy the win, our best game of the season and have a Merry Christmas

Eric Pratt had a great game. Yet, don't high five fans courtside while Chattanooga is racing the ball down court and hitting the game tying three with seconds left in regulation.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. *Go ahead 3 btw. That’s more of a sign of shaky coaching than dismissing 3 players, imo 🤷♂️
