Against D-1 opponents before the Davis game, we were being outscored 80-70 on average. We're pretty much right on pace. Almost right on target ... sadly.

Still long odds to even win 10 games now.

I've met Scott and he's a fantastic guy, but he needs to stop emphasizing our "5 critical injuries." Seriously, there's two -- B.J. and Pierce.

After that red hot start from distance, the Panthers are now 6 for 19 from 3. Just as I feared. 100% agree with your take on this, DTP. I just think that our team clings to 3s like one would to a branch on the banks of a raging river. These are desperate, dire times. Realistically what are their other options offensively aside from chuck 3s and hope? The roster has no ball handlers. No playmakers. No post up threats. No skill level to execute anything barely. In that case, 3pt shooting is going to provide the highest possible points per possession. I'm not defending Lundy here whatsoever though. He's been an abject failure at building the roster, managing lineups, managing game flow, installing any discipline or accountability. He's been objectively trash as a coach this year and got supremely lucky to win a bunch of close games last year that could have easily swing the other way. Even the staunchest supporters of Bart would be looking at him differently if the team wasn't literally the luckiest in the entire NCAA last year and finished a game under .500 and then puked all over the plate and served up the mess they have this year. He looks way over his head for this level of play, he's just throwing crap at the wall and hoping at this point. He has no idea who to play, who to bench. He's trying to have guys who turn the ball over on 30% of their possessions while creating assists like 10% of their possessions who are also abysmally inefficient scorers run the offense. If anyone can find 5 coaches in the entire NCAA who are doing a worse job this season than Bart Lundy I'd love to hear them, because this is a debacle of epic proportions.

I don't know if the big picture could get any more mind-boggling than this: we now aspire to one day be as good as Longwood.

He's not wrong. Any player 6'10"+ with slight basketball ability is going to look like Giannis against us. Well, maybe not Giannis. I've switched to the Bucks game and ... wow!!!

People still think our coaching staff knows what to do? They ran the same few sets most of the game and we had no answer for it. Our PNR defense was pathetic and then the usual suspects threw the game away.12 of our 14 turnovers from MB KP and EJ. Really disappointing effort comign out of the locker room and again we got sonned by literally any guard with some skills. Yall talking about their big man, but some of yall could have gotten buckets with the wide open looks Napper was giving. We never stop the ball on defense so Napper was able to push past our defenders out of position for easy dish offs. What i would give for a PG that could have 9 dimes and 1 turnover while still scoring.

I just been sitting back and watching from the nose bleed seats to absorb the stink before i decided to make a comment again
No BJ this year and Lundy and his cronies look so lost.
I bet they miss this guy's toughness on the court and in practice from last year i wont say his name but i quote Lundy " a bull in a china shop "
No bulls on this team this year.

Even having someone like Vincent Miszkiewicz on the team to snag some rebounds would be huge right now.
