Since 2014, we—the students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project—have been answering this question for professional sports with the help of message board members. Yeah, it’s Green Bay now. There was a time UIC was up there, but that was back in the Bruce/Jimmy rivalry. Now there isn’t really any other legit choice but Green Bay.

UIC and Butler were also great rivalries - teams we don't even play any longer. Valpo was kinda fun too. They’d always beat us in the regular season, but we’d win in the conference tournament. |

From what I have seen of Sundance Wicks since he was brought on board, he is going to add a lot of juice and respectability to the program. I am guessing GB fans will love him and Milwaukee fans will hate him. That, my friends, would spark what has become a relatively dormant rivalry. It would be good for Milwaukee's program and all of the Horizon League.

I would like to see us play UIC again. Those were fun games in an intense rivalry and drew crowds. Loyola would look great on the schedule too.

The league views Green Bay and Milwaukee as rivals. If so, can the dates be better when they play. Playing at GB in December on a weeknight and hosting Green Bay on a Monday is plain silly.
