The HL is requiring six Quad 1 games. Lundy said that is why they sent the league the 60+ teams that flat out said no to us about playing to show them they are trying to schedule these teams and having no luck.

Yes, their is a certain number of games you have to try to schedule. Milwaukee is going for the 3rd buy game. That money goes to only basketball if that can be done. That was reported at the picnic and that report has to go to the HL. In terms of cost bringing in at non-D1 cost about $3K. Bring in a D1 would cost well into the five figures.

Nice field in the sunshine slam. Awesome tourney to be a part of it appears. I bet the fellas won’t mind going to Daytona in the winter either. Solid.

It looks like three probable non-D1s at this point. Unfortunate.

November 14th at Colorado November 20th vs Stetson in Daytona Beach November 21st TBD in Daytona Beach Now that the date of the Colorado game is known, Mrs. Cactus and I purchased our round trip air travel between Phoenix and Denver on Frontier Airlines for just $88/person. In early afternoon the day of the game and out early the next afternoon. You can do even better from Milwaukee right now - $78/person round trip for a direct flight! For those of you living elsewhere, you may want to check to see what rate you can get, as Frontier is based in Denver. Who is going to be there with us to cheer on the Panthers? Let's represent!

Sounds like fun but I decided to go to Daytona Beach instead. Had a blast there last time and I fully expect this time to be the same.

It looks like three or four probable non-D1s at this point. Very unfortunate. Working on a home MAC game and a road buy game. If the road buy game doesn't work, guessing it could be another non-d1 or just not scheduled. I would hope we find out something in the next two weeks.

It's been said by others here before: we should do a partial release of the schedule. That can help greatly with planning.

It's been said by others here before: we should do a partial release of the schedule. That can help greatly with planning. This was done last year. This morning, Tony Paul tweeted the dates of the Oakland/Detroit games so the conference schedule should hopefully be released soon. The bad news? Last year’s non-conference schedule wasn’t released until September 23rd. So it could be awhile.
