I attended last year's Cream City Classic ... and survived. Me too! I had a great conversation with Ken Peterson, Larry Poll, Mark Geinopolos and Julius, who was about to leave for DC. I like the poorly-attended games sometimes, you get to catch up with people.

Do you know if the MTE will be in Milwaukee? Yes. On campus. Awesome! That’s good to hear. Obviously, I’d prefer the games downtown, but I absolutely understand the reasoning for having it on campus.

Do we know if the "D1 Opponent" will be a power 6 team?

So at least 3 non-con D1 games with 2 being P5 (unless someone else, non-P5 will pay as much).
Any chance we play Bucky, Marquette, NU, Iowa, Minnesota or Michigan?

I’d venture to guess that one of the buy games will be PAC 12 or maybe Mountain West or WCC so that the Panthers have another game out west to go with UC Davis. Geographically, I’m thinking Cal, Stanford, Nevada, and San Francisco would make the most sense, but the LA schools and the Pacific Northwest schools wouldn’t be too far away either.

I would bet on a Bay Area trip. Say, Davis to Cal to USF. It makes perfect sense.

Do we know if the "D1 Opponent" will be a power 6 team? It will not. Yet, a midwest team is in the works.

It seems incredibly quiet on the scheduling front for mid to late July. I'm not putting a value on that, but making an observation.

So, for the first time since Milwaukee has started the Homecoming game, it will not be on the first Saturday of the season with the trip to Providence. This game should end up being a FS2 boardcast.
