reds are playing pittsburgh, cubs are [playing the rockies. I stand corrected. Looks like the Cubs won, so clinching the division will wait.

brewers have droppe the last 2, and with it ant remore chance of catching the dodgers for a bye. still they wuilol be locked into the 3 seed with 1 win over these last 6 games, all of which are at home, where the crew has a winning record. .

Brewers are the NL Cebtral Champs! They will be the 3 seed and will host whoever gets the 6th spot in a best of 3 series at home starting the Tuesday after the regular season ends.

Glad they clinched last night, even though I have a ticket for tonight. Just happy that's over with, no more drama.
Cubs are now reeling after their loss last night to the Braves, and the Marlins have a chance to catch them or take the lead in the 3rd WC spot with a double header against the Mets today.
The D-Backs & Marlins both won their regular season series against the Cubs, so they have the tiebreakers. If all 3 teams have the same record at the end of the reg season, the D-Backs and Marlins take the last two WC spots.

The Brewers' approach was like in spring training, with career minor league pitchers Andrews and home state product Bousley covering the last four innings. Even then, the Cubs lost! Gotta love it!
