Just received this email from the athletic department. They give various links to donate on each dollar amount below.
The Milwaukee men’s basketball team had a year to remember, totaling over 20 wins for the 11th time in its NCAA Division I history and advancing to the postseason for the first time since 2014.
To continue the momentum of the team’s successful year and the exposure the season recently brought to UWM and the program, it is our goal to build upon success. This is a broad-based, alumni, fan, and community effort – everyone is part of this team - and we ask for your commitment to assisting our pursuit of championships in years to come. Commit to making an impact on sustained success and show your Panther Pride today! United We Roar!

We're also looking to get together soon to explore how we can help the program:

How much would Friday's MegaMillions Jackpot winner need to contribute to buy out Amanda's contract and hire somebody more competent and who has a vision that can lead to a "Championship Culture"?

How much would Friday's MegaMillions Jackpot winner need to contribute to buy out Amanda's contract and hire somebody more competent and who has a vision that can lead to a "Championship Culture"? That wouldn't be my priority. Unity is what we need and buying out a contract to resolve an 8-year old beef is a waste of money that could be put towards NIL's or upgrades.

Nobody likes what happened 7-8 years ago, but stability has been a good thing for this AD. It’s not perfect, but it feels like it’s in much better shape than it was even a few years ago. This is much better than having a revolving door of Andy Geigers running the department. It does feel like she’s learned some lessons from her past mistakes, and that’s a good thing.

Like be positive there is literally no reason to complain about this season. Yeah? If they dont shore up the rebounding and turnovers we might be in for a rude awakening next year. We were rated as one of the luckiest teams in the country and we werent efficient. As fun as this year was, next year will really suck if we win 11 games or something.

Sometimes we create our own luck. I think Bart did that with the team this season.

Sometimes we create our own luck. I think Bart did that with the team this season. I think we actually created our own misfortune and genuine luck got us some wins this year. Take the game vs UC Davis with the JT game winner. They tried really hard to give that game away and I looked at the person i go to the games with and said, if they blow this im not coming back here for another game all year. Queue the batted ball out to JT and the game winner. Like I said really fun year but those are the type of game you need to seal away and take luck out of the question or youll be burned.

Let's worry about next year..you know next year. There are players that may go and we know incoming players are on the way too. Also you have a coach who showed us what he could do. You have 13 players come together..it was year 1. Now you can have a full off season working out..practicing..coming together as a team. If you have to be negative..make a thread outside of this. You and Pounce9k can have a convo

Queue the batted ball out to JT and the game winner. Like I said really fun year but those are the type of game you need to seal away and take luck out of the question or youll be burned. We had an extremely young team this year that made a lot of youth mistakes. We had a team where the majority were unused to D1 and/or college ball altogether. The first half of the season, these guys were learning the nuances of the other players on the team. There may have been some luck involved in a couple of the games last year. I would actually expect a good amount of growth from maturity, the experience gained last year and the familiarity the teammates will have with the majority of other members of this team. I also believe that we may have seen some inexperience in the coaching staff show up in some scenarios last year, and would expect some better decision making and a better understanding of the team, conference and schedule. You're considering next year's performance won't change from this year's, but you should factor in improvements from experience, newfound familiarity with opponents, increased familiarity with teammates and maturity of both players and coaches.

"The team has flaws so I'm not going to donate any money to them" might be one of the dumbest rationales I've seen on this board in some time.
