Good teams playing each other late in the season.. sign me up The Bracketbuster WORKED. Where it failed was like John said, when they added almost everyone. As long as you keep the strongest teams playing the strongest teams, it shouldn't hurt. But they have to have a cutoff, because adding another sub-300 NET game to teams at the bottom of leagues can have a slight negative effect on the strong teams. We'd like it to stick to the top 10-12 mid-majors, but it's hard to ask 50-60 teams to keep a slot in their schedule open only to make most of them scramble to add a game or decide to play one fewer game.

The games against SIU and Manhattan were well worth it back in the day.
