So much holding both ways. Game on the line on 3rd and 4 and a late flag decides the game. Rodgers needed to run to the corner for that touchdown late. Kicking the field goal was surprising. The Buccaneers won by referee's decision. This is a bitter pill to swallow.

There was loads of holding on Tampa that wasn't called Yes. Call it one way or call it the other ... but don't call it one way ALL GAME and then call it a different way at the end. This one stings, guys, and it's going to sting for a long time.

There was loads of holding on Tampa that wasn't called There was a lot of holding on GB that wasn't called either. Brady's first pick shouldn't have been allowed as Gronk was being held so let's not pretend like this was a one-sided affair. What helped on King's call was a) it was egregious and b) Tyler Johnson flopped like a South American soccer player to make it seem worse than it was. Amazing how Kevin King isn't being trashed more for his spectacular failure of a game yesterday. Also of note - Tom Brady is now 10-2 against Mike Pettine as a DC.

Also of note - Tom Brady is now 10-2 against Mike Pettine as a DC. If they meet again, it won't be at a Packer game. Pettine and Special Teams Coordinator Shawn Menninga are out. I wonder if Brian Gutekunst hired Jerry Gray as his defensive backs coach in part because Gray had some success as a defensive coordinator in Buffalo, so that Gutekunst could plug him into the coordinator role if Pettine was going to be ousted. I'm not trying to make Gutekunst into some kind of Machiavelli, assuming that Pettine would fail; I think it might have been a point in Gray's favor that he had the successful experience. By all accounts, Gray did good work with the Packer secondary this season.

Rodgers wins MVP, as expected. He's the 6th player in history to win at least 3, and ties Favre for most by a Packer.
