We spent a couple hours on this list in our Post Sports staff meeting last week Monday. The big board had over 25 games, and we made it a point to have at least one of every sport for the discussion, but we left some sports by the wayside for obvious reasons. A few of the sports were too individually driven for the writers to put them on, and others didn't really have big moments. I wasn't the one who decided every single game, but I was the one who did the write-ups. They are ranked; feel free to pick them apart - several staff writers already did, and this is the best list we could come up with. The link to the article is below, the lead-in is in this thread:
The 10 Greatest Games in UWM Division I History
A collaboration of amazing wins by the Panthers

When the end of the year inched closer and closer, the Post began a lengthy search - a search for the 10 greatest sporting events in the schools history began.
Since the school was re-christened the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1956, there have been thousands of games covering everything from basketball to football to shooting.
The sheer amount of contests is staggering, and theyre being added to with every passing year.
As the list of great sporting events grew, the Post came to the conclusion that since the grand majority of them occurred after the program moved to Division I in all sports in 1990, the list should reflect it.
As far as the Post knows, no publication has attempted to compile such a list before. After hours of deliberation, the Post compiled a list of the 10 greatest games in our schools D-I sports history:

NOTE:[/u][/i] We are getting a new website, since this one is complete crap. We're stepping it up to a much better, easily updated and interactive website. Hopefully doing this will take out all these stupid âÃÂÃÂs where there should be dashes.
