that if a football program did ever come to be again at the university in the next few years this would give them a better possible starting point for home games. www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=2/1/2007&id=18223Shorewood - A group of school officials and residents has launched an effort to raise $3.4 million to upgrade the athletic facilities at Shorewood High School. The renovation would include building a regulation field for soccer and football, a new track, bleachers and press box, and replacing the existing lighting and fencing at the field. Actually we used to play some of our games at Shorewood HS, also at Whitefight Bay HS. And at County Stadium. Finally they were moved to Marquette Stadium, which has since been torn down

Everyone talks of the Park East corridor as the place in Milwaukee to build a football/soccer 20,000 seat stadium.
What about the crappy area just east of Miller Park Way and south of 94? It seems like a vast amount of nothing; hell, if they put a stadium up there, some of the Miller Park-ing (haha) could be shared.

They've already said if an MLS team were to come to Milwaukee it would be a soccer-specific stadium and nothing else would be played there.

It's kind of pointless to talk about Milwaukee football anyway. As long as Title IX continues to "grace" us with its presence, this is a pipe dream.
