www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQXQGyfmqskThis was created by I&MT Creative Services staff for my office. They used stock footage, put some music to it...some of the video is dated, but it's a pretty sweet compilation.

It's possible they did (want to use it for intro), but because some of it is dated they may not have wanted to include highlights from players no longer with the program....

they set the bar pretty high with last year's intro video... sort of feels like this year's intro is in a rebuilding year as well. ugh.

This year's intro blows. Period. From the group of 5 students that they try to make look like 50, to the complete and utterly boring buildup, there is not much that's good about the video.

The video on Youtube is awesome. I thought it was already posted here, since it had old content, otherwise I would have.

When did UWM join the Horizon league or when was it formed? Because, I noticed all the championships were in the 2000's The Horizon League was formed in 1979 or 80 as the Midwestern Collegiate Conference ... it was renamed the Horizon League about five years ago. UWM became a Division I program in the early 90s, first as a member of the Mid-Continent Conference. After one year in the Mid-Con, UWM jumped to the Midwestern Collegiate (i.e. Horizon) in 1994-95, I believe, with several other former Mid-Con teams (Wright State, UIC, UWGB, Northern Illinois ... although NIU may have jumped a year or two earlier)

They all came in the Horizon League. Milwaukee joined the HL in 1994. It was called the Midwestern Collegiate Conference (MCC) back then, before changing its name for the third time in its history in 2001 to Horizon League. Just about everything there is to know about the League and Milwaukee athletics can be found on wikipedia, including a list of all NCAA D-I tournament appearances for Milwaukee, by sport, at the bottom of the Milwaukee Panthers article... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horizon_Leagueen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milwaukee_Panthers
