Drew would have probably preferred a High School job over going to DePaul. Now once that school gets their new arena, I could see them being a contender in the new Big East.

So far today all these hirings have been head scratchers. Seeing some of these administration's hiring coaches who SOLELY have NBA playing experience and very little coaching experience is even more confusing. I truly, TRULY hope this is not the direction UWM is going to go in. I truly hope they go along the lines of coaching experience, someone who has the ability to connect with these players, good person for the community as well as someone who wants to be here.

Those are all good points. I don't know if we'd be able to afford an NBA guy anyways; Jeter's successor wasn't going to make his salary anyways. Sent from my SCH-R970 using proboards

Sent from my SCH-R970 using proboards Which is why I "hope" we go in the Direction of T. Webster for a few reasons. 1. We wouldn't have to break the bank and he would be happy with that. 2. He's VERY well connected to AAU coaches and teams in the area, which is truly what we need. 3. He has ties to the community, which further bolsters the fact that he will be here as long as AD Braun would have him (meaning he's not looking for a spring board to the next big job like alot of the other guys would be looking for). With that being said, Webster is my preference but of the list of candidates I've seen, I don't think UWM goes wrong with any of the candidates.

Probably not their first choice but a former player and asst. coach at JMU.

So three HL jobs open in Milwaukee, Detroit, and Wright State.
Which is the most desirable job? Least desirable?
I guess I'd go with Wright State, Detroit, then Milwaukee.

I think Detroit is the better job. In state recruiting would be good and the cupboard is not bare. Unless they all leave.
