Racine Case senior guard Jineen Williams has given an oral commitment to play college basketball at UW-Milwaukee. Williams has played varsity all four years at Case and was named first-team all-Southeast Conference as a sophomore and junior. Jeff Smith, her Wisconsin Playground AAU coach, said Williams is aggressive with the basketball and makes her presence known all over the court. "She's very athletic, a slasher with a scorer's mentality," Smith added. Williams joins two additional Milwaukee-area seniors, Stephanie Schell of New Berlin Eisenhower and Jenilee Klomstad of Pewaukee, who have committed to UWM since September. The Wisconsin Playground has produced several prominent girls Division I athletes in the last three years, notably Krystal Ellis and Erin Monfre (Marquette), Stephanie Crosley and Dominique Butler (Cleveland State) and Shenita Landry (Temple). www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=2&date=10/17/2006&id=12950

Good pickup for the ladies. I'll have to check out a Case girls game this year.
