Alright guys we have a huge conference game coming up this Wednesday at 7pm. UWM hosts UWGB for the Chancellor's Cup.
UWM has finally started to get their offense going, and have a 4 game unbeaten streak going. They're not 6-8-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play, while UWGB is 5-0 in conference.
If anyone can make it, they really should. Just because UWM's men's team is having a down year doesn't mean people should give up.
P.S. UIC lost to Butler today, proving they're not invincible. Even though UWM got dominated last time, I'd love to have them get a rematch against the Flames.

Just to edit my own post, the men's soccer team IS 6-8-1 and 2-2-1 in conference... I'm not sure where that "not" came from...

Looked like you meant to type "they're NOW" 6-8-1, and just hit the t instead of the w. But you were right the first time! The team's 6-8-2 right now. Also, this is the ninth and FINAL home game of the season, so let's show the phoenix why Engelmann Field is THE toughest place to play in the Midwest and the nation! We're 51-7-3 at home over the last 5 and 8/9's seasons... lets help ensure that it's 52-7-3 after a full SIX seasons! [glow=red,2,300]FIRE UP MILWAUKEE![/glow]

If UWM is one of the top 4 seeds, they'll host the first round game. The Horizon League standings are REALLY messed up this season. UWM has a slight chance to move up to 3rd place, but they should be either 3rd or 4th. I don't care what UWGB and Loyola's records are. They have great records off garbage teams, and UWM should beat both of them. Only UWM, UIC, and Butler have played respectable schedules this year.

Now that you mention it, I think the top 4 regular season finishers host the 5-8 finishers in the HL tourney 1st round... but I may be mistaken.
If that is the case, though, then we may have another home match... if we can hold onto 4th place that is!

Ironically, Loyola, UWGB, UWM, and UIC all seem to play each other at the end of the season. That's why all of the standings could change drastically.
My ideal situation would be that UWM wins out, finishing at 4-2-1, while Loyola loses 2 more games and finishes at 4-3. That way, UWM would host their first game, play at UWGB, then play at UIC for the championship.
Without a doubt, UIC is the team to beat in the HL this year so it'd be nice to avoid them until the championship game.
Of course, UWM still has to win the next 2 games so I'm talking a little prematurely about this.
