...way to go ladies....
So what's UWM's record vs. MU this year? (remember, they're in the Big East now... ;D)

Box Score | Notes
MILWAUKEE - Melissa David had 17 kills and Cheryl Hegemann added 15 as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee claimed a 30-22, 30-19, 25-30, 30-20 win over Marquette Tuesday night at the Al McGuire Center.
Sarah Moore contributed 12 kills while Monica Ferguson had 10 as the Panthers (11-5) hit .255 in the match and controlled all three games they won.
Kimberley Todd had 18 kills and Jamie Mueller added 13 for Marquette (8-10), which had 33 hitting errors and hit just .120 for the match.
UWM's back-row defense was again strong. Becky Peters led the way with 19 digs while Leanne Felsing added 14 and Cheryl Hegemann had 11.
"I was so impressed with how we came ready to play and ready to play hard," UWM head coach Kathy Litzau said. "Everyone contibuted to the victory. Our serving really took them out of their offense, our block was fantastic and we played great defense behind it. Then on offense, I thought Leanne (Felsing) really did a great job of recognizing their block and distributing the ball."
The Panthers steadily pulled away in the first game. UWM led 11-7 after a Ferguson kill and extended the lead to 17-11 after two-straight Marquette errors. The lead hit 21-12 on a kill by David and was 25-15 after another MU error. Two-straight blocks by the Golden Eagles did pull them within 25-18, but they would get no closer. Two more kills by Ferguson pushed the advantage to 28-21 before kills by Hegemann and Moore finished off the frame.
Game two followed a similar script, as the Panthers gradually built a large lead. A kill by Jamie Gabrielsen made it 8-4 and, after Marquette scored the next three points, the Panthers jumped back out to a 14-8 lead on an MU error. Kills by Leanne Felsing and David made it 19-11 and a block by Ferguson and Moore pushed the lead to 22-11. Two-straight kills by David extended the lead to 28-17 and then a block from Felsing and Moore followed by a kill from Moore gave UWM a 2-0 lead in the match.
Marquette extended the match with a solid performance in the third game. The Golden Eagles took the lead for good at 7-6 and led by as many as four points in the early going. A kill by Moore pulled the Panthers within 14-13 and an ace by Felsing made it 16-15, but UWM would be within one point only one other time. The Golden Eagles then finished out the game by scoring seven of the final 10 points, with a kill by Tiffany Helmbrecht finishing things off.
The Panthers then bounced back for a convincing with in game four. They took the lead for good at 4-3 on a kill by Gabrielsen and quickly extended the lead to 10-3 with run of seven-straight points. Marquette did pull back within 12-7 but would never get any closer. Kills by Moore and Nicole Vilter made it 18-9 and a block by Hegemann and Vilter pushed the lead to 23-12. An ace by Gabrielsen extended the advantage to 25-12 and a kill by David eventually finished off the game and match for the Panthers.
"The key to this victory was having a disciplined block and then playing great defense in the back row," Litzau said. "We also continue to be very diverse offensively. In game three we got one dimensional, but in game four we mixed it back up again and got on track.
UWM returns to action Friday night, opening a key weekend of league matches by hosting Wright State at the Klotsche Center.
