I am so torn. I do not know whether to go to Carroll College and watch the football game on Sunday, or go to UWM and watch the men's soccer game against NIU.
People, make your arguments and sway me one way or another.

The badger game is saturday.
These options are on sunday.
I'd go to the soccer game. They're having a bad season and need more fans at their games.

Soccer - traditional rivalry with the LeWang Cup on the line and it shows who the truest fans are by supporting the team through a season that is going the way this one has.

When torn like this, you always have to go with the team that's at home.
Plus, our soccer team needs a boost and a good crowd this weekend. Let's get them back on track.
I have a lot of love for the football guys though, best of luck to them this weekend as well.

Seeing how I dont like soccer and have zero interest in our club football team I would watch the Badger football team, dont confuse that for me not being a panther fan

Thats the problem with the students and alumni of UWM. They think UW is their "other" school. Until we say NO the Badgers we'll always be a hyphenated-comuter school. We should have no more loyalty towards UW than we do for UWGB, Marquette, or UIC.

Thats not correct.
Kroener says he doesn't like soccer so why should have have to go
and saying he should watch our club team vs. watching the badgers is like saying you have to be a fan of your town's AA minor league baseball team rather than than the state's MLB team.
If UWM had a D1 Football team I'm sure Kroener would watch UWM. but we don't. so i don't see any problem with him cheering for the badgers.
There is a problem when UWM students cheer for UW Soccer, Baseball, or Basketball over our own teams, but that isnt the case here

I didn't say he should go to any game in particular, but if we keep on feeding the monster we'll never get the respect we deserve... or get our own NCAA football team for that matter.
We're not Madison's little brother... I want us to crush them.

Can you tell me how I am feeding the monster by watching their football games when we have nothing here on campus that can compare to Badger Football? Yes, even though I dont like to watch soccer I want all of our athletic programs to beat UW and MU. I root for UWM against UW. My freshman year in college in 2001 I went to the game at the K-Center not knowing who I would root for but let me tell you this, it ended up being pretty damn easy to root for UWM. And you know what, you can question my allegiance all you want but Ill let you know this. This will be my sixth season going to UWM games and guess what I have missed 1, again 1 home game my entire career here and that was against Butler freshman year when my dad had died. I have forked out alot of money for this program by going to Indianapolis multiple times, GB multiple times, UIC, Loyola, Wisconsin, and flying to cleveland so I could make it to the games against Bama and BC. And to say that I was dissapointed this year when I had a plan set up for transportation and room in Jacksonville and had 2 people back out on me the night before we would leave, would be a drastic understatement. So you better come at me with more than Im feeding the monster and if I choose to watch a UW football game over UWM Soccer or club football Im not a Panther fan...cause son you have no clue who I am or what my devotion is like to UWM

Sorry, but I'm not trying come at you, I'm just trying to support my team. You're free to do and watch anything you want, but I'd rather root for a club team that doesn't win all season then give a dime to the evil empire for anything. And yes, watching Badger football leads to advertising dollars for them.
