-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Freeman Staff September 12, 2006 Klomstad, Schell commit to play basketball at UWM WAUKESHA - Two Waukesha County basketball stars have made verbal commitments to play for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee next year.
Pewaukee High School senior Jenilee Klomstad and New Berlin Eisenhower High School senior Stephanie Schell said they will accept scholarships from the Panthers.
The first official signing date is Nov. 15.
Klomstad, a 6-foot-4 center who averaged 10.2 points per game with 10 rebounds and 5.8 blocks last season, is a three-year varsity player and the first player in Pewaukee school history (boys or girls) to commit to play basketball at the NCAA Division I level.
Schell, a 5-foot-10 point guard who holds all of Eisenhower's assist records, was a member of the Wisconsin Swish AAU team that placed first in the Main Event in Las Vegas and fifth in the Nike Summer Showcase in Chicago this summer.
Schell is also a member of Eisenhower's volleyball and track and field teams.
. . .nice to add even more size. Great job Sandy!
