Looks like the game is being played in front of 500 or less people. Nice to have it on FSWisconsin tho!

Up 28-25 at half...has been ugly. Keep getting the ball down low to JJ and Tiby, they are both getting good looks down there

That's unnecessary mu panther. We played poorly, shot very poorly. Tough loss, no doubt. But just a week ago we played very well in beating Montana. Can we bookmark this post and pull it out later?
Let's be honest: AA's decision to redshirt created a gaping hole in our offense. I saw preseason practices before he tweaked his ankle and he was by far the best player on the floor. He's a matchup nightmare with his size, athleticism and deep shooting ability at the midmajor level. I respect AA's decision but his absence has dramatically affected the team. Akeem's hand injury has compounded that.
Despite the loss there were positives. JJ is continuing to look for baskets down low. The light is going on with him as it did with Kyle. Matt is continuing his recent, productive play. Justin shows flashes of his talent every game.
I'm disappointed by every loss and this one was ugly. But there is a good team lying just beneath the surface of this squad right now. H League teams that underestimate us will regret it.

The Panthers are 5-7 (3-7 against Division 1 teams) this season including losses against IUPUI (3-8), SIU-Edwardsville (2-7), and Oral Roberts (4-6). Calling this team bad is calling a spade a spade.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but my job saved me a lot of hair-pulling.
Here's what I wrote on Nov. 6. It's certainly just as true today as it was then:
"In short, this team would be very challenged without Austin Arians."

I've gotten a handful of angry texts and voice messages from former posters.
Before you pull your support, just remember that the program and the university are bigger than any team, coach or moment in time.
As long as The Arena is in place, the program will long outlast this regime and probably most of us.
That, in my opinion, is what we must consider.

This season has been very frustrating for myself. With the APR issue, Austin Arians, lack of attendance, saving UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and the name calling and finger pointing by others that has come with it.
