i like the original KK design, i never even thought of the other group until it was mentioned. i like the original one because having the backwards k reminds me of something like a fraternity which i think fits well seeing as it is a college basketball team. i dont think there is anything politically incorrect with them, and i think the design is original and appealing...just my 2 cents.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!! As a conservative, I am absolutly LOVING all this bending over backwards to not offend anyone on the .001% chance they are not able to discern the difference between 2 K's and 3. Maybe we should just ban the letter K from the alphabet? we can replace it with C's in all words. Good Lord. But then again, I am a racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobe. I like both designs, but I really think we should be a bit less concerned about promoting the Krazie's name. right now, I woud be happy if the students just showed up and wore some black and/or gold. If you have to do something, put it on the back above the number, like a jersey. Make the front something funny or splashy, and have the number 08 on the back with Klotsche Krazie above it, as a name. And there needs to be a sign at every game that says "The Cell Block", too. Personally, I love the use of giant heads at MU games, and would like to see our students do something with signs like that as well. Not giant heads, per se, but some type of signage. Or perhaps everyone has plastic handcuffs. They represent the Cell Block, "Lock Down Defense" and can be jingled like keys at Madison. Instead of "DE-FENSE DE-FENSE" The students can chant "LOCK DOWN. LOCK DOWN." Talk about unique!!!! For a bad call, instead of the standard "BS" chant, the students could chant "ATTICA! ATTICA!" or "BUM BEEF! BUM BEEF!" For a freshman on the other team, the section chants "FRESH FISH! FRESH FISH!" I could go on forever. my question... how do people see three K's from a backwards K and a forwards K? 2 K's to 3. 1 backwards + 1 forwards to 3 forwards. I see where you guys are coming from, but i don't see how it's possible to even see that. Maybe if the two K's were BOTH forwards, but other than that, you guys got me and others lost. At first glance it might look like something. Just saying I woudn't wana wear that shirt in D5!

There is NOTHING wrong with the original design. It's two K's not three and one of them is backwards AND the words "Klotsche Krazies" is underneath. If someone can't tell that's not the Klan then they need their eyes checked.
I would only suggest that Klotsche be changed to Klotsche's. When he was still the chancellor that's what we called ourselves when we went nuts in Baker Fieldhouse. That way you call the section the "Cell Block" and still pay homage to tradition and the guy who made UWM possible.
But either way the original is fine.

I love this idea...retain tradition while adding a new section name. Historical Preservation would be proud

I think the main reason we don't do Klotsche's is because it flows better this way.

Yes. We'll have ours on and should be taking orders for more. Prices are reasonable: Small - XL are $10; XXL and up are $15. On the front is the picture posted above (the shield). The back says "Take care of the little things".

Take care of the little things, for those of you who don't know, is the saying on the back of the men's locker room door at the Klotsche
