They are badass...The shield logo is on the front.
On the back, we took the saying off the plaque in the basketball locker room in the Klotsche: "Take care of the little things."

Ya. Yesterday, we received orders for shirts totaling approximately 27 shirts. They're selling nicely.

Hi. I am at the Gasthaus already for the radio shows, but I am working on some homework before hand, but I have the order form with me. If you would like to order one, I'll be sitting down with my shirt on... I'm on your right if you come through the main entrance.

Apparently someone at the AD rubbed my predecessor Peter Radike the wrong way, because he wrote an angry column that the AD didn't feel the Post was giving football enough pub. Small world. Here I am. Those Negratti/Rosandich days were quite "memorable". There were plenty of big egos running around, and any negative press was met with anger inside the Athletic Department in the early 70's. I actually had a top flight staff and photographer in those says. I gotta tell you its weird seeing Bill Carollo as an NFL Referee now, having done numerous interviews when he was the last Football Quarterback at UWM. Small world indeed.

Bet I'm the only board member who ever interviewed J. Martin. Jimmy, if you guys have archives it must be in a Post in about 1972 or 1973. Not exactly....not only interviewed....but had him as an instructor one year.

And I organized the Kenwood Inn retirement party when he stepped down. It was one fun night. Where else can you see a major university chancellor playing "blow pong" with his students. (He won every game too LOL)

Mr. Klotsche was an incredible man, who could relate to the highest educated people and executives, as well as freshman students. I have his book (autographed) as a keepsake.
Having been in one of his classes, I really got to see him much more out of the element of administration. I also had the priviledge of doing several interviews as well.
A class act and respected leader.
