It's amazing how bad Wojo is. Up 2 with about 1:30 with the ball coming out of a TO and they end up with an Ellenson fallaway 3. Plus they are at home and in the bonus. 29-29 ... and paid, what, $2 million a year? Wow!!!

Not what they wanted and not what Wojo called. The players admitted that in the press conference. You think he drew up a fade away 3 pointer?

Apparently he didn't draw up much of anything because they got that as the shot. Haanif is a great player getting to the rim, not sure why he didnt just call that play and get to the FT line.

I'm not even an MU hater. I just think Wojo sucks.

The same when UWM Assistant Coach, Chad Boudreau says in the postgame we tell our players a 1000 times and they do it, I guess we just don't know what to say anymore.

And what does that say about a coach if his players don't listen to him in crunch time coming out of a timeout? It tells me that they are the 6th youngest team in all of Division I, and sometimes kids panic, or don't follow instructions as well as they should when they are that inexperienced. You a father? Your kids listen to you 100% of the time? When they don't, does that make you a poor, or incompetent father? Or is some of it on the kids, or in this case the players?

This loss knocks Marquette to the bubble of the NCAA Tournament for sure!

They haven't been above .500 in conference all year. Would love to see what their record would be if they didn't play all high school teams during Non-Con

Would love to see what their record would be if they didn't play all high school teams during Non-Con We didn't play UW-milwaukee, thus not an issue. Not a good out of conference schedule at all, but still managed to play Pac 12, SEC, Big Ten teams (3-1 against those conferences). MU's SOS is projected to finish at 97th UW-milwaukee's at 252 Glass houses

Why anyone even mentions Marquette on this message board is beyond me. We all know Marquette is not a good basketball team. Do we really have to put it down in writing so that the MU fans with blinders on can preach like they are God's gift to Milwaukee? Their inability to be in the upper half of a glorified mid-major conference (excluding Villanova and Xavier) is evidence enough.
Now... let's all focus our attention on Detroit.

The glorified mid major conference is ranked higher than the Big Ten and SEC. Head to head against other power conferences, the Big East has the second best record of all conferences this year, only behind the Big 12. Did you draw 3,000 for your last game?

Should be noted here, as it has been noted elsewhere: Marquette now has the longest stretch since their last NCAA Tournament.
