This could be a big spotlight for the HL to shine, other than Butler. Other than Butler, we all have to start winning some of these games. Period. The alternative is to be a perennial one-bid league, except when the Bulldogs go as an at-large.

Helps that it's a home game, but Steve Oyvin Lavin is a pretty tough out. Detroit is capable of winning, though.

Off topic. If they can name their court after Dick Vitale, I say we name our eventual football field after Mike Reinfeldt.

Yeah...here's your list of Panthers that can have something named after them:
Hermann Kluge Bud Haidet
end of list. I'd include J. Martin Klotsche, but he's already in with the KC.

I picked Reinfeldt because I was a Houston Oilers fan in the 70's.

IMO, Detroit needs to make the post-season before they start talking about achieving what Butler has done. As for "Why not us" ... Jr. needs to take a look across the table at dinner tomorrow night.

When he says "why not us?" he really means "why not me?"

“He did a great job handling everything: The McDonald’s All-American tag, being the face of a program, being a coach’s kid."
Problem is, how many more shots does the "face of a program" get over non-face Eli Holman?
Rather than worrying about passing Butler, the Titans -- who saw no postseason a year ago -- should concentrate on getting by Milwaukee. After all, you have to walk before you can run.

You people are reading way too much between the lines. Appeared to be a pretty decent article.

But I certainly think that most would declare Butler a bit higher in the pecking order despite Milwaukee's regular-season sweep.
