sh*t! Screwed up! My sources and I miscommunicated. They were here today on VISITS, not COMMITS.
I'm very, very sorry for this. Totally mistook that. That'll teach me to talk on the phone with the window down in the car!

From the ULM board:
Donald Thomas, 6-foot-7, 185, Riverside Academy, Reserve, La.: "A high-flying defensive hawk who thrives in an uptempo attack. Late-bloomer. Also considered by LSU and Alabama, among others. Very active at the rim."

Must say I’m pleasantly surprised (actually shocked) with the recent developments with recruiting.
Donald Thomas, Jr. fills a sizable void that this team has been missing for years: An athletic, wing scorer who can get buckets off the bounce as well as behind the arc.
Welcome to the Panther Family, Donald!

See also: Arians, Austin. Everyone forgot about poor Austin. Austin, provided he stays, will be a very nice 4-year player. I don't expect him to make a major impact in Year 1. This team is looking to replace Kaylon Williams, Ryan Allen and Tony Meier. I'll feel much more comfortable if we can find another guard who can score...because as it stands, we have yet to replace all that production.

I am not one to bash Jeter, I like him as a coach and a manager of the players but for us to even question if a kid will stay 4 years worries me. It should be a given that a kid will stay 4 years, not an exception. If this doesnt change within the next couple of years I think it might be time to consider replacing Jeter because it will never allow us to build a foundation for our program if kids are constantly leaving.

Have you seen the list of transfers in Division 1 basketball? Over 400. Wright State alone has lost five players off last year's team. I'm not saying I remotely like the trend; just stating the facts.
