There are 16 days left in the late signing period.
With Shaq's departure, we have four scholarships available.
Would you guys want all open spots filled and if so, how?

Looks like Trivante Bloodman will be signing with Mississippi State on his official visit this week: mississippistate.scout.com/2/1182811.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterWhat are your thoughts about the schools that you are considering? Where do you stand with them, recruiting-wise? "Right now, pretty much, because of how I have been bonding with Rick and Chris, I told Rick I want to be a Bulldog. And if I like the campus I am signing right away."

At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if Christian Wolf, Mitch Roelke and Quinton Gustavson have scholarships in the fall.

I wouldn't use the 4 scholarships on new players just to use them. I hope they can land two good players in the next few weeks.

From Clarionledger.com:
Hoops: Bloodman expects to sign with MSU during visit Mississippi State coach Rick Ray may wrap up his first recruiting class with a point guard this weekend.
Olney Central (Ill.) Community College freshman Trivante Bloodman is scheduled to visit campus Thursday afternoon and will likely sign with MSU during his visit.
“I’m expecting to sign Thursday or Friday,” said Bloodman, who holds an offer from MSU. “I like the coaches and everything. They’re really cool. I’d say there’s a 90 percent chance I’m going to Mississippi State.”
Bloodman, a Bronx, N.Y., native, averaged 15.4 points, 3.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game on the junior college level. He visited Seton Hall, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Florida Atlantic this spring, and also holds offers from Nebraska and Duquesne, he said. If he signs, MSU will have two incoming point guards in its suddenly large, seven-man 2012 signing class.
MSU has signed three players during the spring signing period — St. John’s (Wis.) Northwestern Military Academy point guard Jacoby Davis, Memphis Central shooting guard Andre Applewhite and East Mississippi Community College forward Colin Borchert. The school has not yet announced Borchert’s signing.
Guards Josh Gray and P.J. Hardwick signed with MSU in the fall but received releases from the letters of intent after Ray was hired on April 1.
The spring signing period ends May 16

Word just came out that SF/PF Tyler Harris (6'8" 190lbs) is leaving NC State per his father. He'll have 3 years of eligibility left. While it looks like we'll be rebuilding next year, we better go after him hard. Jeter must express interest immediately. He'll add something on the wing that we've never had at that size and his brother, Tobias, just finished up his rookie season for the Bucks, and that alone would give us an advantage in recruiting because family always comes first in the Harris family. We can't miss this one, but something tells me that we won't even give him a look.

There's nothing to suggest he'd even be interested in us. This kid was rated 92 out of high school by ESPN and had offers from four major conference universities. The last thing we should be doing right now is focusing our recruiting attention on unattainable goals.

We're not done with our recruiting class. There will be new faces.
In the end, we lost a recruiting battle for a point guard who didn't want to backup someone else to an SEC school.

that alone would give us an advantage in recruiting because family always comes first in the Harris family. Wouldn't he be just as content with going to Rutgers & St John's since he'd be close to his family too?
