I'm hoping we're on Fouse. Green Bay has recruited him very hard, but Jeter has a good relationship with Bob Letsch at St. Cat's. I doubt there is a more versatile player in this state.

97, you're obviously a Racine guy and it certainly produces players -- but unless he just had a very unusual showing what I saw in the tournament from Fouse led me to believe that he'd be a walk-on candidate. He certainly isn't big enough to be a scholarship big, and he didn't look either quick or skilled enough to be a scholarship wing. Do you feel otherwise? Again, this is the only time I have seen him.

Fran, he didn't have one of his better games against Aquinas. In fact, it was likely his worst game of the year. I've seen him about 7 times over the past couple of years and he's legit. He takes over games defensively and can guard positions 1-4; I don't know how many guys can do that. Can handle the ball as well as any PG on most HS teams, and that is something Milwaukee definitely needs. Finishes at the rim and has a decent 15-foot jumper. He needs to work on his 3-point shot for sure, but that can be developed.

How tall is he? Looked about 6'4 to me.

He's a legitimate 6-5. From what I know, he's going to work on his shooting heading into summer ball. It'll be interesting to see how many other schools offer him if he impresses this summer.

How interested are we in Arroyo Edwards? He's a Milwaukee kid and a 6'5" combo guard.
Also, I've seen vid of Ellenson, and that kid is a freak of an athlete. I wouldn't be surprised if he's bigger than 6'4" by now.

From Minneapolis Star-Tribune (April 20, 2011)
"The Gophers are tracking in-state talent Johnny Woodard. According to Rivals.com, assistant coach Vince Taylor will travel to Duluth Wednesday to watch the 6-4 shooting guard (class of 2012). Woodard has excelled on the AAU scene with the Net Gain Sports program. He has scholarship offers from UW-Milwaukee and UW-Green Bay but other schools, such as Minnesota, have recently expressed interest in the prospect."

Info on Wally Ellenson from SLU fan page: heardthisblog.com/?p=62"Currently, Ellenson has nine offers (Cal Poly, Duquesne, Green Bay, Holy Cross, Milwaukee, Northern Ill., Saint Louis and UIC, according to Scouts.) and more schools are calling every day. Ellenson said he has heard from Illinois, Tennessee, Washington St., Colorado, Minnesota, Boston College, UCLA and USC in the last month." Don't be surprised if Loyola gets into the mix, as Porter Moser was the one recruiting Ellenson to SLU.
