What BU fans forget, it's just not a basketball move, it's all sports.

These massive geographical conferences could be problematic for programs that don't have infinite resources at their disposal. The region-based conferences really are underrated (and, unfortunately, becoming a thing of the past).

This team from a big city thing, is so overrated. A-10, TV deal sucks!! I have CBS College Sports and there is not many games on that network at all. The TV ratings are very low for games on ESPN. Example, Xavier-Temple, so don't give me this big city talk pulls in numbers. It's all relative. The A10 gets a minimum of 32 regular season games on ESPN/2/U, while the Horizon gets 11 regular season games, and both semifinals and the championship game. With the CBS College Sports deal, the A10 gets a minimum of 16 regular season games and both semifinal games. The conference title game is on CBS. That's 51 to 14 in terms of national broadcasts. Butler will get increased exposure from the A10.

Doing their due diligence as they have to do. Looks like largely a formaility and they are as good as gone.

As usual Butler's schedule is solid.
Playing Marquette, Xavier, Gonzaga, Indiana, Northwestern and plenty of other good teams will have them battle tested as usual by season's end.
