Maybe I'm wrong but when our team is shooting free throws and the crowd does the whole spirit fingers thing isnt that a little distracting to our players? Just wondering if anyone else thinks this
Maybe its just me but i'd like to here Panther30's opinion

To be honest, you really don't even notice them much. You are so focused on the rim (or should be) that they don't really come into play. The best analogy would be being up somewhere high.........if you don't look down, it isn't a big deal - but as soon as you look down, you always have the "height" issue in your head. If you step to the line, focus on the basket/rim, you are all good. If you let your eyes wander, notice what is behind you, notice that everyone is watching you, it is a big shot, etc., the shot becomes MUCH harder. But maybe that is just me.

gotta keep up the spirit fingers, it looks great! but where's the "woosh" cheer after we can those shots? seems like you only hear it some of the time. major props to the students once again. you have to love the way they've been showing up in force. tomorrow should be tremendous. get there early. can't wait to see that sea of gold!

I liked the new addition to the made free throw yelling "It's in the hole" a little bit of caddyshack!

or as soon as the ball leaves the players hands we go na nananananananananannanan. a little more caddy shack I'm saying that at the game. Nobody will hear it, but that's a brilliant idea.
