Does anybody know who that old guy is at the home games? I think he's a season ticket holder. The guy is easily in his 60's and wears an afro to the games with his face painted and sometimes a panther head (by the way, where can I get one of those? They don't sell them in the bookstore do they?) I see him talking to Bruce before the games. I heard he partied on the student bus to a game once. He was on the court with the cheerleaders one time, too. They showed him on the last televised game during their promo for tickets. He's got a really loud booming voice. Hopefully you know who I'm talking about. I think the guy is great. I'm just wondering who he is.

Yeah I know who you're talking about. He's beserk, Pearl Loves him. That guy is the quintessential Panther fan. Loud, dressed up, foam panther head is unbeatable. I think it's a Carolina panther foam head sprayed. It's awesome to see a fan like that bringing it just like the student section. Does anybody know his name? Would love to get some info on the superfan.

The guy is as big a Panther fan as I know. It always cracks me up though when he yells, after the cheerleaders/dance team, "Way to go, pussycats!!!" Great stuff.

his name is Tom (i think). they have a group of season ticket holders who have been going to games for years. i'm not sure any are alumns even, just bball fans. they're fantasic! they travel to away games and are always here for home games. last year they adopted Nate Mielke and had a little fan club for him. they're always fun to talk to.

Yeah man they are everywhere. Really fun people to be around...think they'd do keg and eggs with us??? I have a picture from 2 years back @ Butler with them and their Bruce paper masks ( ya know, the ones that were made with sticks attached to them). I'm actually surprised he's not a member of our board already.

Is that the guy who comes down by the bench and talks to KJ before games? I've been wondering who he is.

His name is Tom Serbiak, he and his gang are the biggest and best Panther Fans around! They started the Milkman fan club back when Nate was a redshirt. Rumor has it they are all making a trip to Iowa this summer for the 2nd annual Bubberball Tournament. Great bunch of people and are always a good time. Tomas does love the pussycats as much as he loves the Panthers! Not sure what keg and eggs are but I'm betting Tom would definitely do them. The guy is a riot and a great friend!

Tom Serbiak, the "old fan", is the dad of a good friend of mine. Helluva guy. I don't know if he still does it, but he put on great performances every summer at the St. Roman's Church Festival summer festival on Milwaukee's south side. He helped run the "Paddle Game", which you probably only know about if you've ever been to a Catholic church festival in the area. Basically, you buy some numbered paddles and a wheel is spun. You win a six-pack if your paddle comes up on the wheel.
Tom put on great carnival barker-type performances during those. He also put on a great show at the UWM/UIC game in Chicago this year. I hadn't seen him in a while and ran into him there. I've got a picture of him and I taken outside the arena. He's sporting the black Afro wig. Great stuff from a life-long Milwaukeean

Okay guys, this the old fan's wife, one of the greatest old fans you'll ever meet. The man is a dynamo, yes he's in his 60's, but the wildest college basketball freak you'll ever meet. We had two of our kids graduate from UWM and I went there eons ago. He's always loved basketball, coached his kids in YBA and grade school ball. Old Tom loves the first round games and we have tried to pick a site to visit each year, but by doing that getting tickets so far in advance, it has cost us dearly. We missed the trip to Indianapolis, but cheered and dressed for UWM in Utah. I have a feeling we are probably going to be sad again, unless, unless the gods shine on us and send UWM to Tucson. He loves the team, the students and good god, the Pussycats. He and Lennie, and Jim need that pick me up more than you'll ever know. That makes their night. That and winning and partying. Like I saw in someone's discussion, if you need a summer fix of "old guy" come to St. Roman Church festival over Father's Day weekend, the west beer tent, enjoy the music and the show. You'd have a good time too.

Man,...... Great stuff everybody, Tom is a UWM legend in the making. Another couple Rally cries and wigs and he'll pass up Von McDade in the books. Tucson better pray its' little heart out that they Draw the Panthers just to have this guy roll through town like a path of destruction. Those kids and AZ fans have never seen anything like this guy before. Should be a fun ride through the Horizon League Tourney down at the Mecca. Panthers have to make it happen!

Tom is definatly the sh*t! If we had more fans like him the cell would be louder than ever. It's good to have someone not in the student section get all dressed up and loud, I'm sure he gets his section going, which really helps out. Tom you are the man and that will probably be me in another 40 years ;D ;D
