I just came across this info my friends. Even with the woes of players jumping ship, Butler will be playing in the 2005 Black Coaches Association Invitational. The tournament will take place in Wyoming. www.gazellegroup.com/bcainvite/index.htmlEight teams compete in a three-day exempt tournament hosted by one of college basketball’s top teams from one of the nation’s most prestigious conferences. Each participating team plays three games to support the Black Coaches Association (BCA). The NCAA awarded the BCA this special exemption, which allows teams to play these games in excess of the normal maximum number of contests. Butler could face future Panther opponents such as Wyoming and Northwestern. Maybe Lickliter can extend some professional courtesy to new coach Rob Jeter!
