Right now UIC and Detroit are tied for #3 with 8-7 records, and both have winnable games remaining (@ Butler and home against Youngstown, respectively). They also split the season series with each other. Does anyone know how the tie-breaker situation would work between Detroit and UIC?

Detroit should end up with the third seed since they beat UWM, and UWG, plus they will win with out a problem on sat, and UIC will do the same. So UDM gets the three, UIC gets the four.

Easy there Spike, if you think UIC will win easy, you have another thing coming. Hinkle is a tough place to play plus its the dreaded noon game. The last time Butler played at noon at Hinkle, they put a whoopin' on Detroit. Should UIC win? Maybe, but it won't be easy.

Well I guess its just b/c we took them down twice last year, so Im feeling good about this time around. And last time we played them they looked god awful, as we spanked them badly

buttler does play bad most of the time, but the scary thing about butler is that they are one hell of a perimeter team. if they got hot behind the arch they are hard to beat. they also only average about 10 turn overs a game. which might be a tad but higher right now but they dont make many mistakes with the ball. UIC plays best when they have points in transition. I dont have to remind anybody when UWM give up all those transition points to ced banks. Banks went from no points to double digits in no time.
so the question is? will the bulldogs be hot. and will UIC defence play at their peak performance?

I agree Dunzz that was the main reason we beat them by so much. They live and die by the three if they are on fire it will be a tough game, dont get me wrong. But if they lay an egg like they have then we will not have to much of a problem.
