Looks like the same thing that happened to us last year has happened to UWGB. The Resch Center is booked for March 4-5. So even if UWGB were to finish in 1st and UWM in 2nd, the quarters and semis would be at the Cell. UWGB could host the title game if need be. www.greenbaypressgazette.com/sports/archive/sports_19677636.shtml

Hack I didnt read the artical but i really dont understand why the arenas are being booked during the time? The arena's should be informed when the week of the playoffs maybe and should not plan any events around this. I believe last year the Cell, and WSU would have been blocked. It really just looks bad, is GB arena on the schools campus or is it like the Cell and off campus?
Never mind I, after looking at the artical it explains that the arena is not owned by the school. But still this should have been looked into a long time ago.

UWGB's arena the Resch Center is off campus and across the street from Lambeau Field. As was their old place the Brown County Arena. The RC is not owned by the university and therefore GB pretty much has no say into what gets booked there. The Resch is probably about a 15 minute drive from the eastern outskirts of GB into the western part of town where the Resch is. Actually the Resch is in the suburb town of Ashwabenon (spelling?)

I think calling Ashwaubenon a suburb is a huge overstatement. You can trip over a crack in the sidewalk in Green Bay and end up in Ashwaubenon...or Bellevue...or Allouez...or Howard...or Onieda...
the list goes on...
