GB laments third-place pick

Check out today's Green Bay newsrag and the accompanying lament on the uwgbphoenix message board. The poor man's Coach K and Demovsky seem to suggest that GB's third-place projection is an affront. Can someone explain this to me. We're the first-place team and we return four starters and several heladed prospects and UIC gets back Banks, Carr and Williams (for two-thirds of a season) anyway. What does GB have? Two second-teamers and a bunch of unproven prospects? Be happy with the third-place prediction. It could be worse. Somehow I keep thinking Butler and Wright St. are getting the short end in this.

Sick bias, same guy who wrote in Sporting News Magazine that GB will finish 2nd in conference. The only publication that has them listed above UWM. Big surprise.

The Packers are horrid, might as well create another sports story to write about.

Coach K better hope he has a deep bench. After his two average guards, prospects are looking very thin. I am sure their players are doing a lot of running in the off-season to get ready for Pearl's constant pressing.
