he seems like one of those guys who'll NEVER leave the campus. he'll stay there until he dies or is convinced he cannot make the courts allow him to marry his diploma. i say we go up there for a day w/ "f*** Green Bay" t-shirts on. its not Panthers gear so he can't get THAT upset.

That's a good one. I guess the 1st amendment doesn't apply in Green Bay? At least that's consistent with the planets, etc. revolving around the Packers.

However, when it involves a school in UWGB’s conference, especially its biggest rival, I don’t think athletic apparel from that school should be seen on the UWGB campus.
Rival? Biggest rival? What is he talking about? Isn't UWGB's biggest rival St. Norbert's?

touche' mcdade.... I wonder if this one guy saw one person wearing a panther shirt. One might think a bit deeper and just wonder if the person wearing uwm, might just be from uwm... he stated it himself, it is only a two hour drive!!! Most people have friends that visit from time to time, unlikely with the author of this story.

[Doing my best Justin Timberlake impression...]
(go on and just) CRY ME A RIVER
Whew, those Fighting... whatchamacalits better get used to it. Nobody outside of the GB lockeroom cares about GB basketball.

Haha, that's really funny. I used to wear all my UWM Panthers shirts around the UWGB campus all the time during the summer when I'd head to the Credit Union there on pay day while working with the GB parks dept. Maybe he's one of the people stuck working in the bookstore all summer and saw me walk in the union bi-weekly...quickly sparking his temper. HAHA

Ok check this out. I read the article then sent the guy and email. Here it is: Nice article till then end. I think you better stop looking at the past record and start looking at what your team has done recently, mainly losing.
Never expecting to hear from the guy, here is what he sent me: Thanks for the response. It's nice to know some people actually read what I'm putting out there. I admit that unitl recently the GB men's program has been down. They've made strides the last two years, and I think they're headed in the right direction. I assume you were talking about the men's program because in women's b-ball UWGB has done nothing but dominate UWM. That will likely continue because we can keep our coaches. I do believe that things for the men's program will once again be more in UWGB's favor as Kowalczyk is building a good program and Pearl is gone.
This guy is nuts.

Coach K....building a good program....Mr. Technical? Common now...he's driving all the talent out of UWGB...This guy is okay for what he said though...any true fan would boast his team. I bet you could even find that guy from YSU that would support them every year regardless of the bottom feeder position.

Many on this board email JS staffers (Manoyan, Hunt, Howard, etc.) to compliment them on coverage, to kindly suggest stories, and to positively remind them to keep UWM in their paper. It is a necessary evil as a fan of this school.
Contacting coaches and athletic directors is not appropriate.
