Imagine that at the company you work for, people posted every mistake you make on a bulletin board. Imagine too that other employees then put up notes blasting you for making those mistakes.
Would you want to work with those people? How long would it be before you found a different job?
Imagine that on that same bulletin board people were taking shots at your boss. How long would it be before you stopped respecting and listening to him/her?
Something similar is happening on this board to an alarming degree. Any chance that Tim and KJ (if there is a chance at this point) is dimininshed with every key stroke.
And so to is Jeter's ability to control this team and turn things around by posts that could give some twisted justification to those players who want things their way.
I'm not singling anyone out but I think it's time some of us realize that there IF we lose Tim and KJ there were be ample time to explain what happened and why and comment on it.
There is also the fact that RJ will be our coach for the remainder of the season and there will be ample time to comment on the season and whether or not he should continue in his job afterwards.
Yes this is a discussion board and people are free to post what they wish, but I'm just saying that perhaps if we put ourselves in the shoes of the players we might tone down some of this stuff.

I think it's safe to say that neither Tim, KJ, Coach Jeter, or anyone in the department for that matter are affected by our message board. We're not diminishing anyone's odds of staying or leaving.
I do agree however it's gotten a bit out of control, but to imply we have an impact on what happens with the team is rather outrageous.

With all due respect, please refrain from lecturing us on what you deem to be appropriate or inappropriate behavior on this board. Your insinuation that this board has any type of impact on whether Flowers and Johnson keep playing for UWM would be comical if it weren't so absurd. And if by some bizarre circumstance they actually are influenced by what they read here, perhaps they should be spending more time at practice and being a part of the team rather than perusing fan message boards.

Yeah...with all due respect...give me a break!
If I took a job with a company and that position had public scrutiny, of any amount, associated with it...I'd learn to deal with it. It's part of the gig. Plain and simple. I would think that any DI athlete would realize that going in and learn to live with it.
Plus, if these guys have dreams of going pro they're going to have to get used to people talking about them and their actions, on and off the court.
If I put myself in the shoes of the players...I wouldn't be reading fan boards b/c 95% of the people on those boards don't know anything about the inner-workings of the team and/or program. I would think that the opinions of the coaches and teammates mean far more than some fans posting on a public message board.
And quite frankly...if they can't deal with fans expressing opinions about them...then they've got bigger issues to deal with.

Hanson has taken more abuse on this board than any player- I know I've scorned his game here many, many times. But his character is something that no one has questioned. He's been a model student and teammate, and plays his hardest every time out. If I'm skipping practice left and right and putting out the appearance that I really could care less about this program, you're damn right I'll expect to get ripped if I was wasting my time reading a message board. I have no sympathy for them whatsoever.
