I'd consider them an in-state rival. I do understand that they do lead the series that we have with them.
Granted, they may not be at the level that we are now but I'd still consider them a rival. To not consider them one would almost be putting them down, IMO. And that's what I feel Marquette does to us and we all know how we feel about that one.

i don't think you can consider any D-2 program a true rival when you're D-1.
you're right Hack, the term is used way too loosely.

Agreed Hack and Panther, and I'm not trying to offend Parkside here, but unless the school is D-1, they're not a rival of ours.
Moreso, IMHO in order to be a rival, the game can't count as an exhibition.
